Demons Be Gone

As you can tell by now the blog is named after my coming  album ” My Own Little War” and Demons Be Gone is the first single off  the album. Its a pretty mellow song with a nice soul hook by Arazoo, she’s a dope soul singer coming up.

I felt like i wanted to hold the hardcore street bangers for later and get on my chill side. Im talking about trying to keep the negative out my life and focusing on what’s important. For me that’s the real war, my ego telling me to get that fast money, anger telling me to take some punk out for talking shit…list goes on.

When i wrote this song i had just heard about a dude i know who got caught up in some ugly stuff and ended up killing  a person. Dude was on top in the music game and he was about to get everything he ever dreamed of.  I dont have to tell you that  his life has changed dramatically after that. All because of what i call “demons”, the things that make you make bad choices, whatever they may be, like consumer presure, material wants…list goes on.

I know im not alone when i call it “my own little war”. We are all worriors in this war called life but some got better weapons than others, litterally and methaphorically, if the last is a actual word, i dont know. So without further due i give you Demons Be Gone. Listen and give me some feedback.
