My Own Little War is done and will be out soon but i decided cut it up in parts like I, II, III etc. First part of My own Little War is called: Fear of Failure and this track Master Of My Soul is officially the first song off. Demons Be Gone was released a while back with video and all but the project was put on hold due to life…now im starting over again. Wish me luck. Enjoy!

Yo This is what Ive been tellin folks since day one: Chiiiil!! But noooo… everybody wants to celebrate all kinds of dumb shit like…yo he’s black! Im like does that even matter in this day’n'age? Ive had mad debates about this with dudes and ive been called everything from a hater to a bitter mf. Well dudes are gonna get a rude awakening after this shit. Check out this documentary! Demons Be Gone

As you can tell by now the blog is named after my coming album ” My Own Little War” and Demons Be Gone is the first single off the album. Its a pretty mellow song with a nice soul hook by Arazoo, she’s a dope soul singer coming up.
I felt like i wanted to hold the hardcore street bangers for later and get on my chill side. Im talking about trying to keep the negative out my life and focusing on what’s important. For me that’s the real war, my ego telling me to get that fast money, anger telling me to take some punk out for talking shit…list goes on.
When i wrote this song i had just heard about a dude i know who got caught up in some ugly stuff and ended up killing a person. Dude was on top in the music game and he was about to get everything he ever dreamed of. I dont have to tell you that his life has changed dramatically after that. All because of what i call “demons”, the things that make you make bad choices, whatever they may be, like consumer presure, material wants…list goes on.
I know im not alone when i call it “my own little war”. We are all worriors in this war called life but some got better weapons than others, litterally and methaphorically, if the last is a actual word, i dont know. So without further due i give you Demons Be Gone. Listen and give me some feedback.

Hip Pop Rock

Went and saw Pete Rock put it down on the dex(and the serato) at Berns, Stockholm City earlier this week. Had a good time, mad love to Pete, he is a living legend. The party popped off but besides the music i could’nt really tell if i was at a hip hop party or a regular pop rock club party. Dont get me wrong the party was live but the fashion shit is too homogenic nowadays, we trying too hard to fit in, fuck i cant seem to see any b-boys anymore all i see is pop dudes and that punk rocker dude trying stand out from the pop dudes. What happened to timbs and white t’s. Props to Rock he sported the classic look. Im a victim to this shit as well. Hip hop is so mainstream today that when a cat is trying stand out from the rest he goes punk rock. Funny shit. I guess it makes punk rock the most rebellious sub culture…still.
Anyway the classics were dished out, the bar got emptied out and i lived to tell about it. I also capped a few hip hop moments that you can check out below…1
